Growing up finding a passion for what I wanted to do in my life was a journey in itself. As I went through college, I found myself intrigued by the human body which led me into obtaining my degree in Kinesiology focused in Exercise Rehabilitation at Sacramento State University.
During my time in college I competed in powerlifting which caused me to develop low back problems and worked at In-N-Out for about 4 years which then I started to develop Carpal Tunnel Syndrome due to repetitive movements leading me to do research on that issue with the only option that came up frequently on the internet: Surgery. I brought up these concerns to my mom and she replied “NO! You are too young to get surgery” and brought me to an Acupuncture office which provided Chiropractic care and with 6 months of continuous care my Carpal Tunnel Syndrome had disappeared and I was able to continue my journey in competing in Powerlifting.
Over time I started to see and feel the benefits of Chiropractic care through my long days of training and work of which before I dealt with low back pain along with numbness in my hands, yet the continuous care I received relieved and prevented these issues from coming back. I then found myself in pursuit of learning what exactly Chiropractic is about and fell in love with the philosophy leading me to obtain my Doctorate degree in Chiropractic, in hopes of helping others heal naturally through rehabilitative and preventative care.
Chiropractors commonly treat conditions such as back pain, neck pain, headaches, and musculoskeletal injuries. They may also provide preventive care and promote overall wellness.
During a chiropractic adjustment, your chiropractor will manipulate your spine or other joints to improve mobility, reduce pain, and promote healing. The adjustment may involve quick, controlled thrusts or gentle manipulations.
The number of treatments needed varies depending on your condition, overall health, and response to treatment. Your chiropractor will create a personalized treatment plan for you and discuss the expected duration of care.
